Option Browser in main menu deleted
The option 'Browser' in the main menu is now deleted after integration of own browser.
Besides this the symbol
has been replaced by
. This control starts the integrated browser.
The caption 'HTML-Mode' under 'File' in the main menue has been replaced by "Archive-Mode".
You can select the language from the menue bar (File) now. The button with the flag has been removed.
Saving of HTM-files without tags now possible
You can now save HTM-files as plain text, that means that all tags are automatically removed when saving the HTM-file as a text-file.
How to do this:
Load the HTM-file into the browser.
Select this control
. You can now choose a filename for the text-file (textbox besides control 'Save Text As') and save the HTM-file as plain ASCII-text.
Saving of files now more comfortable
Until now text-files displayed in the editor have been saved using this control. If you now choose this control the displayed file will be updated automatically and overwritten. If you would like to save the file with another filename simply choose the function 'Save as' under 'File' (Hotkey: STRG+F12).
New browser-controls
The browser now offers the following new controls:
This control reloads the displayed file. During an InterNet-connection the symbol will be replaced by 'X', which means that the loading-process can be aborted.
This control allows the selection of an URL of your choice when you have established a connection to the InterNet.
Choose this control if you would like to load a HTM-file manually into the browser.
The browser will be hidden and the editor is shown again.
Integrated browser now ready for InterNet-surfing
The integrated browser can now be used for surfing the InterNet! Before doing that you must establish a connection to your provider. Afterwards you can connect to various URLs by choosing hyperlinks.
32-bit version coming soon
We are currently preparing the 32bit version of KatalogMaster for Windows 95 and Windows NT.
All customers who have purchased the 16bit version will be enabled to buy the 32bit version at special prices. You'll find more information about forthcoming versions & updates on our WWW-pages.
